It's been an interesting offseason for the Louisville Cardinals.
They've lost several assistant coaches to jobs elsewhere, and one of them even left to join an in-state rival. Lamar Thomas' departure to become the Kentucky Wildcats' wide receivers coach. Thomas' move was one that met with a lot of criticism from both Louisville fans and media to the point you would have thought him leaving was a blessing for the Cardinals.
That's what one Twitter troll suggested to Thomas today, and Thomas replied with the perfect response.
People forget that Louisville also lost corners coach Terrell Buckley to Mississippi State and safeties coach Greg Brown to Missouri this offseason, marking three coaches who left the Cardinals for greener pastures in the SEC. Brown didn't exactly sound like he liked the situation at Louisville either.
But yeah, they all left for because Louisville was too good for them. That's the case anytime someone leaves Louisville.
