The new college hoops top-25 polls are starting to emerge, and UK is standing pat for the most part.

Following their thrilling win over North Carolina, the Cats are staying around the same ranking in most of the newest polls, including the No. 6 spot in the latest AP Poll. It's the same spot as last week, and while a win over No. 8 UNC is nice, no one else in the top five lost last week.

Villanova retained the top spot, followed by UCLA, Kansas, Baylor, and Duke. UK's next opponent, Louisville, comes in at No. 10 this week, as if the annual Bluegrass rivalry matchup needed any more excitement.
