Kentucky Basketball extends CBS Sports Classic deal

UK returns to New Orleans in a future CBS Sports Classic event.

The Kentucky Wildcats will keep playing in the CBS Sports Classic for the foreseeable future.

It was announced Thursday that the CBS Sports Classic series was being extended through the 2019 season. It will include the same four teams in Kentucky, Ohio State, UCLA, and North Carolina.

Among the future sites included is New Orleans in the 2017-18 season, where UK won the 2012 NCAA Championship. That will feature UK taking on UCLA at the Smoothie King Center.

UK will then play North Carolina in 2018 and Ohio State in 2019.
