Wildcat Quickies: NFL Boom(?) Edition

New, 52 comments

Boom considers the draft, Cats start bowl practices, pre-Hofstra information and more.

Though it's really not a surprise, it's worth noting that Boom Williams has reportedly considered skipping his senior season and entering the NFL Draft.

"Conversations and things have started. That's something I have to think about as well. Right now my main focus is the bowl game, but after the bowl game, me and the family will talk some more and will handle that situation," Williams said.

Williams' time at Kentucky certainly warrants consideration for the draft. While health issues are still a concern, Williams would surely be a highly-rated running back in the draft. His return would guarantee that Kentucky has one of the most dangerous backfields in the country, but you can't fault him for chasing the NFL if he does.
