It looks like Taveion Hollingsworth will not be coming to Kentucky.
The Paul Laurence Dunbar star is set to make his college decision on Wednesday, according to the school’s Twitter page:

If that’s the case, Western Kentucky will very likely be the pick. Hollingsworth recently scored an offer from the Hilltoppers and is coming off an official visit with them.
A 6-2, 165-pound guard out of Dunbar, Hollingsworth is one of the top prospects in the state of Kentucky. As a junior this past season, Hollingsworth recorded 21 points per game on 53.1% shooting to go with 5.4 rebounds per contest. He did this while leading Dunbar to a state championship and claiming KSHAA Sweet 16 MVP honors.
With UK needing to fill 6-8 spots on next year’s roster, adding an in-state guy like Hollingsworth in the same way Dominique Hawkins or Derek Willis came to UK appeared possible, especially after the Wildcats recently watched the Bulldogs star.
Alas, it looks as though Hollingsworth will stay close to home, but it won’t be in Lexington.
