Kentucky continues to look more and more impressive every time these Cats hit the court.
Their latest victim was UT-Martin, who actually pushed the pace early and gave UK a nice push while leading 16-15. From there, the Cats clamped down and exploded offensively during an 81-33 run that quickly put the game out of reach.
Even with sophomore guard Isaiah Briscoe sidelined and Derek Willis battling a hand injury that limited him to eight minutes, UK still had its best offensive output of the season thanks to 26 from Malik Monk, 16 from De’Aaron Fox, and 15 apiece from Bam Adebayo and Wenyen Gabriel.
All of this was enough for UK to set a new scoring record in the John Calipari era.
