Kentucky’s leading scorer Isaiah Briscoe will sit out today’s match-up with Cleveland State due to a back injury. He’s now day-to-day, according to Kentucky.

Briscoe is Kentucky’s best scorer this year, as he’s averaging 18 points per game on 51.9% shooting. Expect the Cats to be a little out of sorts early on, as Briscoe is the leader of this team and practically another coach on the floor. However, this doesn’t by any means change the fact that today will likely be a blowout in Kentucky’s favor.
Due to the injury, Dominique Hawkins will be the one to step in and make his first start of the year.
With no Isaiah Briscoe today, different look for the Cats. Dominique Hawkins makes his first start this season but the 10th of his career. pic.twitter.com/ZtdKIQ9OZg

Hopefully Briscoe can make it back from injury quickly; the Cats will need him here soon.
