And another one bites the dust! Last night, the No. 3 Indiana Hoosiers fell to Fort Wayne. If you need a moment to Google search Fort Wayne because you didn’t realize they had a basketball team, you’re probably not alone. The Hoosiers were shocked by the Mastodons 71-68 in overtime, and they’ll fall from their No. 3 spot.
Normally I wouldn’t base the quickies around Kentucky’s rivals losing to a team that’s not Kentucky, but this directly relates to the Cats. This week, ESPN snubbed Kentucky for the No. 1 spot in their power rankings, and instead put Indiana at No. 1. Following the upset that showed IU has no business being No. 1, ESPN’s Jeff Goodman immediately took to Twitter to defend himself.
Still don't regret putting IU at No. 1. Results mean more than paper rankings. Now Indiana shows inconsistency. High ceiling, low floor.

Ranking Indiana No. 1 was a bad decision, Jeff. Please admit it.
Congratulations to the Fort Wayne Mastodons! This is one of the best upsets we’ve seen in quite some time!

The Wildcats wouldn’t have the dominant running game that they do without a dominant offensive line. That line is good enough to qualify for the Joe Moore Award, an award that goes to the best offensive line in college football each year.
SEC bowl projections - ESPN
ESPN now has the Wildcats in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl.

Ever since Stoops took over at Kentucky, the first goal has been becoming bowl eligible. With that finally out of the way, Stoops has made his position a little bit more comfortable.

Murray had his first big NBA game, scoring 24 points, and his dreadful start of 0-17 from the field earlier in the year is now behind him.

They’re called the Golden Knights. Not a common name for a professional sports team, but then again neither is playing in Vegas.

Arena will replace Jurgen Klinsmann, who was recently fired by Team USA. Arena is currently the manager for the LA Galaxy.
The 76ers finally have a winning streak - ESPN

The former Kentucky Wildcat is being suspended, and is also under investigation, for the conduct towards his players which has led some of them to transfer.
