The Cats will soon end their 2016 season, though it thankfully will last a little longer thanks to UK finally reaching the bowl season.
That hasn’t happened since 2010, and none of the current Cats have been able to taste what the postseason is like. That includes the outgoing senior class, which will be going bowling for the first and only time in their collegiate careers.
But even had UK not made it to a bowl game, there were still a lot of great memories made by these seniors. Following Saturday’s Senior Day win over Austin Peay, which got UK to six wins for the first time under Mark Stoops, the outgoing seniors talked about their fondest memories in Lexington, what it means to be a Wildcat, and the joy they had seeing so many UK fans cheer them on through the good and the bad of the last four years.
