It looks like Kentucky Wildcats will likely not be adding another signee to their 2017 class before the early signing period ends.

Nov. 16th is the final day high school seniors can sign in the fall, and no one is set to announce their college decision on the final day that UK is in the running for.

However, several recruits are announcing their decisions after the fall periods ends, including Quade Green. The five-star point guard announces his decision Nov. 19th at his high school’s midnight madness event.

Before he does so, Green took a visit to Syracuse last weekend to take in the Orange’s win over Colgate. That led many to believe the Cuse had sealed the deal with Green, but not so fast.

Green was in New York Tuesday night to take in Kentucky’s beatdown of Michigan State in the Champions Classic. He also was there with AAU teammate and UK target Mohamed Bamba.

That would seem to bode well for the Cats if that ends up being the last time Green visits for a school’s game. UK badly wants to land both Green and Bamba for their 2017 class, but it doesn’t look like Bamba is deciding until late in the spring.

Elsewhere, KSTV’s Clayton Abernathy caught up with new UK signee P.J. Washington about his commitment, as well as who the five-star forward would like to play with in college. When asked about who he would like to play in college with, and he mentioned Green among the guys P.J. is actively recruiting to UK.

It’s always good when current members of a class are already trying to get other elite recruits to join them. UK needs all the help they can get before Green makes his decision Saturday.
