As expected, Jedrick Willis has committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide.
The five-star offensive lineman out of Lafayette is heading to Tuscaloosa, which he revealed on his Twitter page through a Bleacher Report video.

Wills is ranked as the No. 42 overall recruit, a four-star prospect, in the 247Sports composite. He is ranked as high as No. 16 overall by Rivals.com, while his lowest is 89th by ESPN. Every major recruiting service has the 6-4, 318-pounder pegged as a top-10 offensive tackle prospect and the No. 1 recruit from the state of Kentucky.
It's tough to see the Kentucky Wildcats lose out on a recruit in their own backyard, but Bama has shown they can take just about any player they want. After UK seemed to lead for much of the 2016 offseason, the Tide stormed into the lead before the start of the regular season, and there were a lot of rumblings Wills have Bama a silent verbal before he began his senior season, so seeing him announce that decision now is no surprise.
Alas, UK is now left to find another offensive lineman to add in 2017. There are some pretty good ones that Mark Stoops and his staff are in the running for.
