The Cats are projected to go to several different bowls as they look for one more win to become bowl eligible.

Ok, so the last couple weeks of Kentucky Wildcats football have been rough. But nonetheless, only one more win is needed in order for the Wildcats to go bowling, and that win is more than likely going to come against Austin Peay this week. With how likely it is that the Cats will go bowling, let’s take a look at where Kentucky is projected to play their postseason.

The Sporting News has the Cats playing the Indiana Hoosiers in The Music City Bowl. A bowl we’re all familiar with, plus a basketball rivalry spilling into football? Sign me up!

CBS Sports has Kentucky up against NC State in the Independence Bowl in Shreveport, LA. It would be the day after Christmas, on Dec. 26.

College Football News also has Kentucky in the Independence Bowl, but against Boston College. I don’t think I need to explain why that would be significant...*cough* Patrick Towles *cough*

SEC Country also agrees with the Independence Bowl, but their projected opponent is Wake Forest.

SB Nation has UK in the Birmingham Bowl against South Florida, which would take place on Dec. 29, the same day that Kentucky basketball plays Ole Miss.

NBC Sports also has Kentucky in the Birmingham Bowl, but against the Houston Cougars.

Lastly, Campus Insiders has the Cats up against Texas in the Texas Bowl...not exactly a neutral site game, but hey, if the Cats are going bowling it’s acceptable.
