Kentucky Basketball televising practice and holding NBA Pro Day

Mark Zerof-USA TODAY Sports

On Sunday night, the Kentucky Wildcats are once again giving their fans a chance to watch basketball team for a live, televised open practice. The open practice will be on ESPNU from 7-9 p.m. EST.

This practice is part of the NBA Pro Day that UK is holding this week. UK is expecting around 90 NBA personnel for its pro days on Sunday and Monday, according to Adam Zagoria.

John Calipari is welcoming in scouts, executives and coaches from all 30 NBA teams to come and watch his Cats up close to get a better idea of what they'll be as potential NBA players someday. He's also giving UK fans and the rest of the world to watch his players practice.

The Cats will go through various agility and shooting drills in addition to 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 scrimmaging. Calling the action for ESPNU will be Doris Burke, Seth Greenberg and Fran Fraschilla, while Andy Katz will do sideline reports.

The most recent DraftExpress 2017 NBA Mock Draft has Malik Monk, Bam Adebayo and De’Aaron Fox being selected within the first 18 picks. Wenyen Gabriel, Sacha Killeya-Jones, Isaac Humphries, and Isaiah Briscoe will also draw NBA consideration in next year’s draft.
