Good morning BBN, these are your Sunday morning quickies. The Kentucky Wildcats took a step closer to bowl eligibility with a win over the Vanderbilt Commodores yesterday evening. The 20-13 win put the Cats at 3-3, and revealed a number of things, including just how good the running game is. It also showed that the defense is continuing to get better, as they kept Vanderbilt from scoring a single offensive touchdown. It also showed that the passing game is struggling without Drew Barker, but with the running game excelling and Stephen Johnson showing dual threat ability, UK didn’t need the passing game. Kentucky is on a bye, but will come back with a game against Mississippi State, a win they need badly.
