As expected, Duke and Kentucky have the best odds of winning the 2017 NCAA Championship.
The latest odds released by Bovada have Duke coming in as the favorite with 4-1 odds. UK is right behind at 15-2 odds to claim the school's ninth national title. These two blue bloods figure to be the No. and 2 teams in most, if not all major college basketball polls when the season opens.
Duke actually has slightly lower odds than they did back in April as 9-2 favorites. UK was slightly higher with 6-1 odds, but this was before Marques Bolden made his decision. Adding Bolden likely helped increase Duke's odds and subsequently hurt UK's chances.
But none of this means much until the ball drops and every team begins their season. Thankfully, that will be very soon with Big Blue Madness coming next Friday.
