Good Monday morning BBN, these are your Wildcat quickies. The United States captured the Ryder Cup over the European team over the weekend, snapping their losing streak against Europe that had been going since 2008.

The win is especially great for Kentucky’s own JB Holmes, who is the PGA leader in driving distance. He put it to good use in the tournament, and helped the US win the event 17-11.

Tweets of the day
