UPDATE
After being diagnosed with "whiplash," Boom Williams has returned to the game.

The Kentucky Wildcats got off to a hot start vs the Missouri Tigers thanks in large part to Boom Williams.
The junior running back broke off a 60-yard touchdown run in the first quarter that put the Cats up 7-0.

However, Williams would fumble on the very next drive, and as he was attempting to make a tackle on the sideline, was decked by a Missouri defender.

From radio and @bigblueinsider1 on the sideline: Boom Williams "groggy" after taking a hit after the fumble. No word on his availability.

It sounds like Boom "might' have suffered a concussion, but that's merely speculation at this point. UK has since announced that Williams is being evaluated for a shoulder injury.
We'll keep you posted.
