UPDATE
James Young made the Celtics’ final roster.
***
Many former Kentucky Wildcats will learn their roster fates this weekend as teams go through final cut-downs ahead of the new NBA season.
One of the first Cats on the bubble to learn his fate looks to be Charlotte Hornets guard Aaron Harrison.
Charlotte is planning to keep Aaron Harrison and Treveon Graham on the 15-man opening night roster, league sources tell @TheVertical.

Harrison appeared in 23 games with Charlotte last season after being signed as an undrafted free agent. He shot 5-of-19 from the field and 3-of-10 from 3-point range on the season. Harrison then played well in the 2016 NBA Summer League, enough that his job now appears safe.
One former Cat firmly on the bubble is James Young, who is on the trading block as the Boston Celtics look to deal him or R.J. Hunter, both of whom are battle for the final roster spot.
As cutdown looms, the Celtics continue to offer James Young or RJ Hunter for a second-round pick, league sources tell @TheVertical.

I would expect Young to be one a new team come opening night. He just needs a new team to get a fresh start with.
