The Kentucky Wildcats will live to fight another day.
Staring down the barrel of yet another gut-wrenching loss, UK rallied to get into field-goal range with three seconds left trailing 38-37.
But even with UK in range for a makeable field goal, asking Austin MacGinnis to convert a 51-yard attempt seemed like too much to ask for a kicker that missed a 28-yarder on the first drive of the game.
So it only makes sense that MacGinnis drilled it with so much ease it probably was good from 55-plus, and it gave UK a season-saving win.
