Darryl Williams suffered a very scary injury in Mississippi State’s matchup with Kentucky that left the freshman lineman motionless on the field for 15 minutes.
Williams was eventually loaded onto a stretcher and taken out of Commonwealth Stadium in an ambulance to be transported to a local hospital. It was some kind of head and/or neck injury that occurred on a Bulldogs field goal and has not been fully disclosed, but Mississippi State did give a positive update on his status that indicates he'll be ok.
Darryl Williams is being transported to UK Chandler Hospital for further evaluation. He has movement in all of his extremities.

Seeing Williams on the field with no movement whatsoever was a scary sight that no one ever wants to see, but it's great news that it looks like he will be fine. We will have more details on his status as they become available.
