With the new hoops season closing in fast, we’ll now get to see the Kentucky Wildcats in action for the Blue-White Game, their annual intrasquad scrimmage.
We've been getting some peaks at the new team over the past month with the televised practice on ESPNU, as well as a brief scrimmage last week during Big Blue Madness. However, this is the first game-like atmosphere that fans will get to see the 2016-17 edition of Kentucky Basketball in.
This will be the first time we get to see newcomers De'Aaron Fox, Malik Monk, Bam Adebayo, Wenyen Gabriel, and Sacha Killeya-Jones in a game-like scenario since coming to UK.
There's also some added incentive for some fans attending the game. Head coach John Calipari will pay for the 2016 spring semester in-state tuition for two lucky students who attend the Blue-White Game, so there's some added incentive for students to come. UK students who check into the Blue-White Game via the BBN Rewards app will be eligible to win.
