Quade Green and Kevin Knox visiting UK for Big Blue Madness

The Kentucky Wildcats are going to have a loaded list of visitors for Big Blue Madness.

The latest confirmed attendees are five-star point guard Quade Green and five-star forward Kevin Knox. It looks as though both will be visiting unofficially.

It's a bit odd to see Green visiting. UK hasn't shown much interest in him in recent months as they've zeroed in on Tremont Waters and Trae Young as their top two point guard targets in 2017. Perhaps John Calipari is keeping his options open in the event Waters and/or Young go elsewhere.

While Young is clearly UK's No. 1 guy at this position, Green would not be a bad consolation prize. Most recruiting services have him right behind Young in the overall rankings, and some view Green as just as good of a prospect as Young.

Still, Calipari wants Young, and I doubt Green ends up at UK unless Young goes to Oklahoma. Syracuse looks like the favorite for Green right now, but UK probably becomes the favorite if they make him a priority and lose out on Young.

As for Knox, this will likely be one of several visits he takes to Lexington in the coming months. He is already scheduled to take an official visit to UK in January the weekend they host Kansas, which likely will be the Cats' biggest home game of the season.

Duke and Florida State remain the big contenders for Knox, but UK is right there with them for the elite wing out of Tampa.
