College basketball is now into the conference portion of the regular season, and what a way to kick it off with the No. 1 and 2 teams squaring off Monday night.
The Kansas Jayhawks and Oklahoma Sooners are on top of both major polls this week as the two Big 12 rivals square off on ESPN's Big Monday. The Sooners have essentially their entire team back from last year's Weet 16 run, whereas Kansas returned many of their main players while also adding several talented freshman this offseason. Still, few saw these two combining to have just one loss thus far, and both are looking like Final Four contenders as conference play opens.
As for the Kentucky Wildcats, they're back in the top 10 of every major poll thanks to last week's dominating win over the Ole Miss Rebels. up next are the LSU Tigers, who aren't even receiving votes to be ranked this week, but did get a road win over the Vanderbilt Commodores last week, a team that's spent much of this season in the top 25.
