Drake Jackson, Tate Leavitt, Naquez Pringle talk about joining Kentucky Football

Hear what three of UK's newest additions and hopefully instant-impact players talk about joining UK football.

National Signing Day is approaching fast for the Kentucky Wildcats, but some of their biggest additions (figuratively and literally) have already been made.

Offensive lineman Drake Jackson, left tackle Tate Leavitt and defensive tackle Naquez Pringle met with the media Thursday to talk about joining UK and what their hopes for this coming season are.

Though he's probably the least-talked about JUCO signee, Pringle may very well make as a big of an impact as any newcomer this season. With the defensive line being dangerously thin following the graduation of several lineman, Pringle could challenge for a starting spot, and he knows a great opportunity is sitting in front of him.

Jackson is regarded by several services as not only one of the top offensive line prospects, but even the No. 1 center. He wants to play early and often as a freshman, but he knows nothing will be handed to him.

Many consider Leavitt the favorite to be UK's starting left tackle and blindside protector come the start of next season. Though it's a tough task for anyone to come in and start from Day 1 in the SEC, Leavitt said he did get to face several talented defensive lineman in junior college. At the end of the day, Leavitt knows and stressed how games are won and lost in the trenches, and he hopes to win some games fo the Cats.
