After a 3-2 start in SEC play had many wondering if this Kentucky team was even worthy of the top 25, you couldn't have asked for a better bounce-back week than what we just saw the Cats pull off.
On Thursday, UK went into a venue which victory had never been accomplished under John Calipari in Lexington, but the Cats stormed out to a big lead and cruised to an 80-66 win.
Then Saturday, Vandy came into Rupp riding a three-game winning streak and a just came off an impressive win at Tennessee, not to mention having the same starting lineup the Dores had against last year's 38-1 UK team. That was a game Vandy pushed the Cats to the limit before falling by just eight points in Rupp, but this time around, Kentucky dominated for 40 minutes and came away with a 76-57 win.
Bouncing back is something Cal and his teams have become accustomed to, so it shouldn't be surprising to see the Cats have one when they needed it most.
