Ever since Mark Stoops came to Lexington, the Kentucky Wildcats have began recruiting at an unprecedented level.
Stoops has also done so going toe to toe with many of the SEC's and college football's elite programs, including Ohio State, Florida and Alabama. Those three schools were among the host of scholarship offers Landon Young has gotten, but he's now enrolled at UK and getting ready for spring football.
Though Young is already in college, he's still a 2016 prospect that continues to rise in the recruiting rankings. Rivals.com is the latest to tab Young as a five-star prospect as he comes in at No. 29 in their latest rankings. That's also bumped UK's class ranking up to No. 20 overall, ahead of the likes of Tennessee, TCU and Oregon.
In addition to Young's bump, cornerback Jordan Griffin is now a four-star prospect. As good as this class already is, the Cats are still poised to add 2-3 more prospects in this class and continue to rise up the rankings.
This class is also ranked 21st overall in 247Sports' rankings after they updated their ratings last week, which also included a fifth star for Young.
