The Kentucky Wildcats got good news and bad news before their matchup with Auburn.
The bad news is junior guard Dominique Hawkins will not play vs the Tigers due to a high ankle sprain suffered two weeks ago. The good news is Hawk is dressed for the game and appears very close to getting back to game action.
Dominique Hawkins (sprained left ankle) is dressed for today's game but will not play for the fourth straight game.

Hawkins is getting better but was very limited in practice the last two days.

This bodes well for Hawk returning next week against either at Arkansas Tuesday night or at home vs Vanderbilt next Saturday. Either way, getting him back will be a nice boost for the Cats as Hawk was becoming a reliable three-point shooter and a solid defender.
