Kentucky Football: Grant McKinniss now a 4-star prospect

The Kentucky Wildcats 2016 football class is looking better and better every day.

When the Cats aren't getting four-star commitments from the likes of Kash Daniel, Drake Jackson and Tate Leavitt, one of their current commits is getting a rating boost.

The latest of which is punter Grant McKinniss, who Scout.com now has rated a four-star prospect and the No. 3 punter in the Class of 2016. That's also pushed UK's 2016 class into the No. 16 team ranking. McKinniss could very well be UK's main punter next year with Landon Foster graduating this year.

Other four-star prospects on Scout.com that are committed to UK include Drake Jackson and Landon Young. Depending on what recruiting website you look at (ESPN, Scout,. Rivals, 24/7 Sports), Kentucky now has commitments from six players who have a four-star rating in one of those services.

In all, Kentucky's class stands at 20 players with 3-4 spots left to be filled.
