Big Blue Madness 2015 is shaping up to be an epic recruiting event for the Kentucky Wildcats.
Just about every elite 2016 prospect that John Calipari and his Cats are after will be coming to Lexington for UK's first practice of the year in front of a packed Rupp Arena Crowd. UK is already set to host five-star forward, Sacha Killeya-Jones five-star forward Harry Giles, five-star guard Rawle Alkins, five-star wing Miles Bridges, and five-star guard Malik Monk at the event.
According to Chris Fisher of the Cats Pause, five-star point guard De'Aaron Fox will also be among them:
The nation's No. 1 point guard--Katy (Tex.) Cypress Lakes' De'Aaron Fox--has confirmed to CatsPause.com that he will visit Kentucky for Big Blue Madness the weekend of Oct. 16.
"I love the complete nature of his game. It's really difficult to find a weakness in it," 247Sports Director of Scouting, Jerry Meyer said. "He shoots it well, gets to the rim, has a mid-range game and a good balance of scoring and distributing. He's good in transition and possesses qualities as far as leadership and bringing a team together."
The 6-4, 170-pound point guard out of Cypress Lakes (TX) is rated the No. 2 overall prospect by 24/7 Sports and No. 7 player by ESPN. The Wildcats, Kansas Jayhawks, Arizona Wildcats, North Carolina Tar Heels, and Louisville Cardinals were among those to make Fox's final list that came out in August.
UK is still the heavy favorite for Fox in his 24/7 Sports Crystal Ball:
