If you're like me, this week has been a slow crawl to Saturday. I can't remember a Kentucky football game that I was this excited about. The Kentucky Wildcats are 2-0 with a home and a SEC road win under their belt as they welcome in the Florida Gators.
Must Reads
The 'Cats have the talent to be on the field with Florida, they showed that last season in a disappointing and controversial triple overtime loss. But now the question is, do they have the talent to win? I believe so.
Tweet of the Day
I'm so excited tomorrow is the first day I will have the team together to do some court work. Been looking forward to this day for a while.

I'm sure John Calipari has been licking his chops for quite a while in preparation for this moment.
Afterwards we're going to #TheNewCWS to cheer on @UKFootball.

And of course you know Cal is #AllIn
Kentucky Football
Trevor Sikkeman over at fellow SB Nation site Alligator Army gives us an outstanding preview of our Wildcats vs. his Gators. He dubs the offense a "Power Run Air Raid" I like that term a great deal.
Your weekly Kash Daniel stat summary: threw for 208 yards and a TD, rushed for 145 yards and three TDs, including a 70-yarder.

Kash Daniel keeps doing Kash Daniel things.
Mark Story from the Lexington Herald Leader has his match ups and game predictions for 'Cats vs. Gators. He gives Kentucky the edge in four out of nine categories (all on offense) but he also give Kentucky a narrow victory.
Kyle Tucker of the Courier-Journal says that running back Mikel Horton is gathering steam. Horton is the bruiser in a trio of high caliber running backs. He was sidelined for the majority of the game at South Carolina but he is expected to be at full strength tonight against Florida.
NCAA.com takes a look at the oft mentioned "Streak".
Fox Sports details the monster recruiting night that will be taking place in Commonwealth Stadium tonight.20 of the 22 commitments from the 2016 class will be in attendance among recruits from future classes.

Tyler Ulis serving as host for 5-star wing Miles Bridges' official visit to Kentucky this weekend. Ulis chose UK over ... Michigan State.

Can't think of a better player to show Bridges around. Bridges could be the next to commit to Kentucky.
But John Calipari and Tyler Ulis are going to have to hold off Tom Izzo and Cassius Winston for Birdges. This is going to be a close one, but I do think he will choose Kentucky.

I think the Tom Brady sketch artist is the same person that designed the players on the new NBA Live. Trey Lyles is not a 40 year old pick up player from the Y.
Other Kentucky Sports
The thirteenth ranked Kentucky women's soccer team blanked Alabama 1-0 last night in Tuscaloosa. That's the seventh shut out of the season for the ladies who are now 7-1-1 (2-0). They good, folks.
The #24 ranked women's volleyball team rallied to beat Xavier last night 3-1. The 'Cats went down in the first set 25-22 but then went on to win the next three sets 25-17, 25-17, and 25-20. They are 5-5 on the season.
Ninth ranked women's doubles Mami Adachi and Aldila Sutjiadi are already making waves. They defeated the eighth ranked duo from Pepperdine 6-4, 6-1 on Friday night in California.
College Football
The Florida State Seminoles struggled to beat Boston College on the rado 14-0. Their offense is struggling to move the ball with Notre Dame transfer Everett Golson at quarterback. The Seminoles are supposedly the ninth best team in college football and the Clemson Tigers are supposedly the eleventh best. After watching the two play in the last two nights I can say that neither is true and that the ACC is a dumpster fire.
The Ole Miss Rebels travel to face the Alabama Crimson Tide in the premier college football game of the week. This is the start of the SEC proving ground.
Ladies and gentleman, enjoy your day and enjoy the game. And if you're out there tailgating at CWS, have one, or 12, for me.
Go 'Cats. Beat Florida.
