Kentucky Wildcats Football loses Therrell Gosier, Javon Provitt, Nick Richardson

We've also got a brief update on Greg Hart and Courtney Love.

The Kentucky Wildcats held their annual Media Day on Friday, and here's some of the biggest news and notes to come out of it.

*Freshman wide receiver Therrell Gosier did not qualify academically and will not be with the team this year. Gosier, a 6-6, 200-pound receiver out of Blanche Ely (FL), was a three-star signee in the 2015 class.

*Freshman defensive tackle Javon Provitt, as previously reported, did not qualify and will head to junior college this year.

*Freshman offensive tackle Levon Livingston was on the initial roster, but still has some work to do academically.

*Redshirt freshman and former four-star 2014 recruit Nick Richardson is no longer with the team, but is not an academic causality. He left the team voluntary and is seeking a transfer. Richardson is the second 2014 offensive-line signee to transfer this summer, joining offensive tackle Josh Krok, who left the program in June.

"Nick is no longer with us," head coach Mark Stoops said. "There will be one other guy. Levon Livingston, we're still working through some things. So we're optimistic we can get him back later this summer."

*There is still no final word on Nebraska transfers Courtney Love and Greg Hart, both of whom are applying for hardship waivers to play this year after coming to UK last December.

"We're not sure where that's at yet as well, so we're waiting on that," Stoops said. "It's a little tricky. We had that situation in the spring, but we will work with them. They'll get some reps. We will not work with the ones much, obviously, until we see where they're at. So it will be a week or two. We're optimistic that we'll get some resolution on that in the next week or two."
