The Kentucky Wildcats have become a popular pick to make some noise in 2015, but UK fans will be happy just to see them make it to a bowl game.

Associated Press writer Ralph D. Russo is the latest to pick the Cats to make it to a bowl this season after not making one since 2010. This comes right after the SEC Network crew picked UK to go 8-4 this year.

I'll shave 8-4 into my head if the Cats get to 8-4 this year. That would easily be one of, if not the biggest turnaround in college football this year if it comes to pass.

Darryl Dawkins was too strong and too funky for our basketball world
We lost one of the great NBA characters Thursday when Darryll 'Chocolate Thunder' Dawkins died at the age of 58. He also was one of the first great dunkers of basketball as he shattered multiple backboards over the course of his career. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
