The Kentucky Wildcats got great news when Jamal Murray arrived on campus this week.
According to Chris Fisher of the Cats Pause, Murray is finally on campus after being the Canadian National Team for much of the summer following his reclassification to the 2015 recruiting class.

Speaking of recruiting, it was Murray's commitment late in the 2015 class that helped pull UK to within striking distance of Duke for the top spot in the '15 recruiting class rankings.
Since Murray committed to UK, that Cats added another late commitment in the form of 7-foot Australian big man Isaac Humphries, which has pushed Kentucky past Duke for the No. 1 spot in Scout's Class of 2015 recruiting rankings. Both schools have five recruits for 2015 and both had 4.6 average ratings, but it was the Cats that laid claim to the top spot.
Murray and Humphries joined Isaiah Briscoe, Skal Labissiere, Charles Matthews, and Mychal Mulder to round out what easily is the best class any team brought in this offseason. That's not even accounting for Tai Wynyard joining the team in December.
While some recruiting services don't update their rankings past June, it's clear UK had a class worthy of being called the best, so it's good to see at least one service gave them that designation.
Oh, and beating Duke in anything makes it even sweeter.
