Kentucky Football: Mark Stoops is nuclear-level pissed off

This is never a good sign with the season now two weeks away.

This was not a good week for Kentucky football.

It got off to a rough start on Monday when highly-coveted lineman Marcelys Jones was kicked off the team for a violation of team rules. It took Jones just two months to get booted from UK after transferring from Ohio State earlier this summer.

Things have gotten worse towards the end of this week after the team had their worst practice of fall camp on Friday. That brought out Angry Mark Stoops, which is never a good thing, more than anything because it means UK football is not in a good place.

Things apparently didn't get better Saturday during the team's second major scrimmage of fall camp. Stoops described it as another poor effort by the majority of the team, and it was so bad that Stoops wished he could have had another scrimmage Saturday night.

The worst part about it was the upperclassmen leadership Stoops though he could count on let him down very badly.

This is never a good sign with the 2015 college football season now two weeks away. Still, it's possible the poor effort and execution of these past two days is being overexaggerated by Stoops to make sure he's got everyone's attention as they prepare for Louisiana-Lafayette on September 5th.
