Jay Jay Chandler visiting Kentucky Wildcats; 4-star PG from Texas

The Kentucky Wildcats are getting a visit from star 2017 point guard Jay Jay Chandler.

Hoop Seen's Corey Evans reports that Chandler, who hails from Katy High School in Cinco Ranch (TX), will take an unofficial visit to Kentucky on Thursday boefre departing for visits with several other school.

Today, August 20, Chandler and his father will take in the University of Kentucky program and then drive up to Columbus to see what Thad Matta and the Ohio State Buckeyes might have to offer.

Following his two visits and taking some time off with their family in Ohio, Chandler will head back down south and take visits to Memphis and Vanderbilt on Sunday, August 23.

Chandler, a 6-3, 171-pound guard, is ranked as the No. 47 overall prospect in the '17 class according to 24/7 Sports Composite. Rivals.com ranks Chandler as the No. 60 prospect in '17. He play AUU ball for Houston Hoops alongside 2016 Kentucky recruiting target De'Aaron Fox.
