It looks as though Jamal Murray will be joining the Kentucky Wildcats very soon.
According to Toronto Raptors' beat writer Josh Lewenberg, Murray is not expected to compete with the Canadian National Team in the FIBA Americas Tournament, and will have to report to UK by the university's "drop-dead date" in order to remain eligible for the 2015-16 college basketball season.

It was reported Tuesday night that Murray playing for Canada wasn't looking likely, so this latest news comes as no surprise. It also means Murray should be on UK's campus within the next week or so to join his teammates for fall workouts.
