Video of Anthony Davis signing massive extension with Pelicans

Anthony Davis is now a very rich man.

With the NBA's moratorium period over, players are now free to sign deals that were agreed upon prior to 12 am on July 10th. That includes Davis and the five-year, $145+ million extension he got with the New Orleans Pelicans.

Here's a shot of Davis as a he signs on the dotted line to become the latest former Kentucky Wildcat to get a massive contract:

The extension will kick in starting with the 2016-17 season and run through Davis' 28th birthday. He's worth every dollar after establishing himself as one of the NBA's four or five best players this past year.

This past season, Davis led the league in blocks per game (2.94) while ranking fourth in scoring (24.4 points per game), seventh in field goal percentage (.535) and eighth in rebounding (10.2 rebounds per game).

Congratulations to Davis on becoming a very rich man.
