It's no secret John Calipari is an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Cal makes it a point to head up to the Saint Vincent College campus in Latrobe, Pennsylvania for Steelers camp each year. He now has a Kentucky connection with Pittsburgh after Alvin 'Bud' Dupree was taken by the Steelers in the first round of this year's NFL draft. Cal visited with Dupree and other Steelers on Wednesday:
How does he look #BBN? Can't wait to watch @Bud_Dupree2 do work this year in @steelers black and gold. pic.twitter.com/dyOWjrRguL

.@steelers have tons of weapons on offense this year. Great seeing Big Ben and QB Coach Randy Fichtner. pic.twitter.com/wQ0Hn6gBK7

Always good to see @CoachTomlin. One of the very best in the @NFL. Glad he's the @steelers' coach! pic.twitter.com/8WJF8tfw7H

Dupree is poised to make an impact in his rookie year for a Steelers defense in desperate need for more playmakers like the former Wildcat.
"I am just eager to see how everything goes," Dupree said this week, via Steelers.com. I am ready to go out there and compete and get better as a team. … I have been looking forward to it since I got drafted. I am ready to play.
"I am going to make an impact," Dupree said. "Whatever I need to do to help my team win, I will do. I just want to keep getting better every day."
