Yeast, who hails from Fremont Ross High School in Ohio, is 24/7 Sports' No. 11 prospect from the Buckeye state in the Class of 2017. ESPN and 24/7 Sports both rank 5-11, 180-pound Yeast as a four-star prospect and one of the top 300 players nationally in the class of 2017. He's picked up scholarship offers from the likes of Louisville, Maryland, Iowa, Illinois, Cincinnati and Washington State.
When the elder Yeast finished his Wildcats career, he was the all-time leader in career receptions in the history of the SEC with 208 catches and was second in career receiving yards with 2,899. He was a fourth-round draft pick in 1999 of the Cincinnati Bengals and spent nine seasons in the NFL, Canadian Football League and Arena Football League.
