Willie Cauley-Stein signs rookie deal with Kings

Willie Cauley-Stein has signed his rookie contract with the Sacramento Kings, the team announced today.

Cauley-Stein was taken with the No. 6 overall pick by Sacramento in the 2015 NBA Draft. His contract will pay him $2,831,900 this year before jumping to $2,959,300 in 2016 and $3,086,800 in 2017.

This past season at Kentucky, Cauley-Stein became UK's 58th all-time All-American and its 25th consensus First Team All-American. The 7-foot forward from Olathe, Kansas, averaged 8.0 points and 6.2 rebounds during his three-year career.

Cauley-Stein finished his career as the only player in program history to amass 500 or more rebounds, 200 or more blocks, and 100 or more steals. He ranks second all-time in the UK record books with 233 blocked shots.

In addition to his consensus All-America honors, Cauley-Stein was the 2015 SEC Defensive Player of the Year, 2015 SEC Tournament MVP, and a two-time member of the All-SEC Defensive Team.

Congratulations to Willie 'Trill' making a cool mill.
