The media released their predictions for the winners of the SEC East, West and league winner on Thursday.
Somehow, they came up with a different winner of the SEC than either of the division winners. The media picked Georgia to win the East and Alabama to win the West.
One would assume that means one of those two teams is picked to win the league, but that's not the case with the media pick. They tabbed Auburn as their winner of the SEC outright. Leave it to the media to complicate something fairly simple.
Heck, even Kentucky picked up one first-place vote in the SEC East. The total vote had UK picked to finish sixth in the conference, ahead of only Vanderbilt. The Cats did The predicted order of finish for the SEC East was Georgia, Tennessee, Missouri, South Carolina, Florida, UK and Vanderbilt.
The Western Division order was Alabama, Auburn, Louisiana State, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and Mississippi State.
