Karl Towns has breakout NBA game, then hangs out with The Starters (video)

Slowly but surely, Karl-Anthony Towns is acclimating himself to the NBA game.

Heading into Wednesday, Timberwolves big man Karl-Anthony Towns was having a rough showing in the NBA Summer League.

The No. 1-overall pick of the 2015 NBA Draft was averaging 11.7 points, 7.3 boards and three turnovers per game while shooting 33% from the field.

"It’s hard," Towns said after Monday’s loss to Chicago. "I was talking about it with my dad after we lost to the Chicago Bulls on Saturday. That was my seventh game lost in five years, including high school. Every loss is hard. You can see it on my face a little bit, I’m a little bit hurt today by losing."

Towns finally had a breakthrough game Wednesday night against the Trail Blazers with 20 points (7-of-9 shooting),10 boards, two steals, two assists and three blocks while also going 6-for-6 from the free-throw line.

Here are some highlights of Towns' performance:

Afterwards, Towns hung out with The Starters to talk about the process of acclimating himself to the NBA, Karlito, his favorite rapper (Drake, of course), and his pick for the best center to ever play in the NBA:
