Some would argue playing in the shadow of a program as a successful as Kentucky basketball would hurt other sports.
Don't tell that to UK football head coach Mark Stoops. Speaking at SEC Media Days, Stoops said he believes the success of the winningest program in college basketball history actually has a positive effect on the football program.
Stoops brings up John Calipari on his own. Once again thanks him for his willingness to help UK football recruit.
