As the month of July rolls on, college basketball recruiting continues to heat up with the AAU events continuing.
Last week, it was the Nike EYBL Peach Jame and Adidas Gauntlet that had many of the top high school prospects on display. This week, the Adidas All-American Camp tips off in New York with players like Mustapha Heron, Quentin Goodin and Rawle Alkins in action.
The Kentucky Wildcats have their eyes on a number of them, and Scout.com's Evan Daniels provided updates on several of them via cn2.
Prospects that Daniels updated the recruitment on were Miles Bridges, Markelle Fultz, Kobi Simmons, and Malik Monk.. As the popular belief is, Daniels reiterated Bridges is looking primarily at UK and Michigan State.
Daniels also talked about how former Wildcats like John Wall and Anthony Davis have helped UK's efforts to impress the top high school recruits in the nation. Here is the video:
Daniels also provided this update on Bridges how well he performed at the Peach Jam:
There might not have been a more exciting player to watch at the Peach Jam than Miles Bridges. The extremely strong and athletic forward had it working while running with The Family. He was doing a better job of hitting shots, and then also using his athleticism to finish going to the rim. With coaches from Kentucky, Michigan, Michigan State, Indiana and North Carolina tracking his every move, Bridges really impressed and proved why he is one of the best in the country.
