Karl-Anthony Towns made his NBA debut Friday night as his Minnesota Timberwolves took on Julius Randle's Los Angeles Lakers.
Towns and his Wolves got the win as he chipped in 11 points, three boards and four assists. Randle wasn't too shabby either, notching 11 points and one block in his first game back since breaking his leg last year.
"Obviously, me being out for so long, I was anxious," Randle said of his return, via Silver Screen & Roll. "Julius has been working all summer. He's been in the weight room, he's been on the court, he's been putting in all the work," Lakers Summer League coach Mark Madsen said when asked about what he saw from Randle. "For a first game back he did a lot of positive things."
Here are the highlights of both former Kentucky Wildcats in action:
Hopefully, we'll see many more of these matchups in the coming season.
