The U.S. women's national team notched their first win of the 2015 World Cup Monday night by defeating Australia, 3-1.
It was a great start to the tournament for the U.S., who's in search of their first cup since 1999. The win puts the U.S. on top of Group D after Sweden and Nigeria tied in their matchup. The Americans hit the field again on June 12 against Sweden.
