Devin Booker was among several players who worked out for the Denver Nuggets on Friday.
In a brief Q&A with the Nuggets' official website, Booker talked about going from a small high school star to playing on the biggest stage in college basketball in Kentucky:
"A lot of things have changed, first of all I come from a small public school in Mississippi and to be a part of the biggest stage in college basketball it provides a different outlook. I always knew I loved the game and I always wanted to be around it, but that really allowed me to get in touch with my love for it being around it all day everyday … it becomes a part of your life. The University of Kentucky is the best thing that’s happened to me."
