The 2015 NBA Draft has come and gone, which means we can now assess how important each player will be to their respective teams as rookies.
Though Jahlil Okafor was the No. 3 pick, he has the best odds to win the NBA Rookie of the Year Award in Bovada's first odds for the award. Okafor came in at 7/2 odds, just ahead of D'Angelo Russell at 4/1. Karl-Anthony Towns and Emmanuel Mudiay came with a tie for the third-best odds at 7/1.
As for the other Kentucky Wildcats, Willie Cauley-Stein is an intriguing bet at 22/1 odds. He won't put up a lot of points, but he may get enough blocks and rebounds to put himself in the running for the award. Devin Booker at 33/1 odds is also an interesting play, especially if they trade Eric Bledsoe this offseason.
As for Trey Lyles at 33/1, he's probably not getting much run this year with Derrick Favors taking up most of the minutes of at power forward.
