The Cavaliers are in the Finals for the first time since 2007 after beating the Atlanta Hawks from the Eastern Conference Finals in four games. The Warriors are back in it for the first time in 40 years after dispatching the Houston Rockets 4-1 in the west.
Both teams are dealing with notable injuries to key players heading into the series. Warriors guard Klay Thompson is reportedly set to play in Thursday's Game 1 after sustaining a concussion against the Rockets in Game 5.
It's not as simple for Cavs point guard Kyrie Irving. He had an MRI on his knee on May 11 that revealed tendinitis during a second-round playoff series against the Chicago Bulls. Irving missed Games 2 and 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Hawks with the injury, but played in the series finale in Game 4. Irving has said he expects to be less than 100 percent in the Finals, but is expected to play in Game 1.
Game 1 and 2 will be at the Warriors' Oracle Arena in Oakland, California before the series shifts to Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland for Games 3 and 4. The finals can be seen on ABC or streamed online on ESPN3 for all games. For radio coverage, ESPN Radio has the coverage.
