One of the all-time Kentucky greats could get one of the highest college football honors imaginable.

Former Kentucky Wildcats great and No. 1 overall NFL draft pick Tim Couch is on the 2016 College Football Hall of Fame ballot.

Couch is on the ballot for the second-straight year. He's among 76 former FBS players and five coaches, so it won't be easy for Couch to make the cut, but his career at UK cannot be overlooked:

Tim Couch, Kentucky-Quarterback-1998 consensus First Team All-American who finished fourth in Heisman voting in 1998 and ninth in 1997…1998 SEC Player of the Year who led Cats to first win over Alabama in 75 years…Set seven NCAA, 14 SEC, and 26 school records.

Last year, former Wildcat great Art Still was inducted into the hall. Hopefully, Couch joins him this time around.
